Good question! I bet VPC Endpoint could be an option, based on the pricing from AWS (us-east):

NAT Gateway: $0.045/hr + $0.045/GB

VPC endpoint: $0.01/hr + $0.01/GB (first 1PB)

Also, VPC endpoint supports both S3 and DynamoDB.
