Hi Danny, how many nodes in your GKE cluster? I experienced this issue with a single node on Minikube.

When I launched 2 nodes on the Minikube, it worked well. I did notice the route table was totally different between 1-node and 2-node cluster on Minikube.

Not sure if route table also incorrect on GKE.
